My frame was not hidden from you when I was being made in secret, intricately woven together in the depths of the earth. You saw my embryo. The lifespan that was decided for me was written in your book, before I came to be.� The writer uses agricultural imagery to reflect what happened before birth. Like seeds that are �covered� over and planted in �the depths of the Earth�, so God embedded us in our mother�s womb. Down in "the Earth", out of sight, we were being made as our embryo grew to complete the predetermined pattern. This all happened before "we" began to live.
