While in theory I would agree with you about “Christian independents”, I cannot for this reason: Every Democrat is a representative for the Dem Platform, which INCLUDES support for all those liars, thieves (via taxes), homos, and killers which you mentioned. Those same independents are PRESSURED by the Dem Party to vote for such godless issues by their own party, and cave in on it in spite of whatever conscience they might have because of that pressure. (One Dem senator was not even allowed to speak recently at a big Dem occasion simply because he is supposedly Pro-Life. My question is this: If you are REALLY Pro-Life, what are you doing in the political party that is Pro-Abortion????) I suppose that you are aware that Gephardt (unfortunately from St. Louis) takes each new freshman Congressmen into his office and notifies them that under no uncertain terms that if they wish to have a prolonged future in Congress that they WILL support the Dem Party issues with their votes, or they will soon find themselves replaced.
However, even your (much more rare) godless Republican is going to be pressured by HIS party to support the issues in the Rep Platform, which include all the things which we as Christians should support. (And HIS party is going to get him replaced with someone more conforming to Republican issues ASAP!)
