J Izzy   jt:  Who is the keeper of the record?   Judy   From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of [EMAIL PROTECTED] From: "ShieldsFamily" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> jt: So Jesus going to the cross for us is "tough love?"  Was his forgiveness toward the woman caught in adultery "coddling" her?   Izzy says: Yes, in fact that was the toughest love.  Now he expects us to do the same, and crucify our own flesh.   jt: Tough on who - Him or His enemies (us); actually how does one crucify himself?    Izzy: The problem is that you don’t see that because the woman was repentant, Jesus forgave her and said, “Go and SIN NO MORE.”    jt: Nope Izzy, there is no record of the woman saying anything until after her accusers left and then all she says is "No man Lord" (see John 8:1-11); are you adding your doctrine to the text?   Izzy: He loved repentant the sinner, but rebuked the sin.   jt: Where?  I don't see Him loving the sinner or rebuking the sin.  He said he didn't condemn her and told her to go and sin no more.   Izzy: You want to embrace the sinner “right where they are”, and sympathize with their sin, thus putting your stamp of acceptance on their sin.   jt: And where did you learn all of this about me Izzy?  Are you accusing me of this because I didn't raise my children right or because you've been listening to the accuser?     Izzy: This is called being an “enabler”.  What every sodomite wants is for straights to accept and love them right where they are, and accept them as normal. This only greases the skids to hell.   jt: Oh is that so? Now you are telling me I am in a co-dependent relationship with sodomites and am an enabler? You are the one with the sodomite friends Izzy.  Not me.   I think we need to go back and take a harder look at John 8:7 "Let him who is without sin cast the first stone" That is some good counsel.   Judy
