Your position is indefensible from a Biblical standpoint.
DAVEH: If the Bible says the thief went to paradise, why would one want to add to that and suggest he also went to heaven? Isn't that an extrapolation that may not be true since the Bible is silent on it? Why do many Christians assume that the thief was "saved" from such a simple statement with little else to go by?
DAVEH: And your position is......? If so, then please provide multiple (I'd even be happy to see a single) Biblical evidence the thief went to heaven. >From what Scripture tells us, it seems to explain only that the thief went to paradise. What happened to him after that, is not recorded. He may still reside in paradise.....no? Dean writes: Are you suggesting that Jesus didn't go to heaven-He went to paradise also "To day shalt thou be with me in paradise". If one can assume that the thief failed to go to heaven can't one by the same reasoning one assume that Jesus failed to also go to heaven? Yet we find that Jesus is with the father in heaven-and later we find that he is the Father. But that's right-The book of Mormon says that the Bible is a tool used by Satan to cause a very great many to stumble-Yet a Mormon will claim to believe the Bible to get young Christians into Mormonism-to them the Holy Bible is just a tool to be used to corrupt. Tell me -Where in the Bible does it say that the thief didn't go to heaven later after Jesus ascended-passage please?
