Ruben, Be sure to let us know when we can see the
documentary. (I doubt it will be complimentary, knowing the liberal media!)
Izzy
Ruben:
Sure, they (HBO) was going to follow me
around for one year and started filming with Mardi Gras in New Orleans where
they filmed for two days this little crew followed (cameras, lights, sound
man, producers), they wanted the preaching and the crowd response. They believed had enough film to do
the documentary just with Mardi Gras, I was told the had action, humor was
something Hollywood could never manufacture and all this without a Q-card.
Every emotion God gave
humans was pricked. So then they
decided to get only three events and then the editing will begin, so because
it is HBO it could take over a year. They are dumping about $75,000 to make it television ready
and for the record I get nothing but a chance to show every Sunday Christian
what happens when you take the Gospel outdoors, uninvited and unasked for.
There is another film
out called Damaged Goods it opened here in Hollywood late June this year,
but I was out of town preaching and my wife did not attend. This same filmed opened this November
at he New York international independent film and
video festival, this documentary is on HIV and AIDS. This film shows footage of myself
preaching during sodomite parades, an AIDS walk from Los Angeles (with truth
horns and banners) and a sit down interview. The New York Premier of Damaged
Goods a film by Nadia Buckmire. This was filmed about a
year and a half ago and I am no movie star. I have a face for radio but just
happened to be preaching when they noticed us making no small stir. Nadia Buckmire contacted L.A.P.D. as to
who these men with the banners were preaching in the city. When she gave a profile on me, the
police department contacted my cell phone and asked if I was interested in
this interview? They (L.A.P.D.)
did not wish to give them my phone number, but delivered a message with a
phone numberif interested. I
pulled on the line and now it is finished and by the way Ive never seen it
myself. This one might be out on
PBS this winter.
