The devil is identified as an Angel of light in the Bible and the book Mormon Doctrine.

 

JSH 13 At length I came to the conclusion that I must either remain in darkness and confusion, or else I must do as James directs, that is, ask of God. I at length came to the determination to �ask of God,� concluding that if he gave wisdom to them that lacked wisdom, and would give liberally, and not upbraid, I might venture.

14 So, in accordance with this, my determination to ask of God, I retired to the woods to make the attempt. 16 But, exerting all my powers to call upon God to deliver me out of the power of this enemy which had seized upon me, and at the very moment when I was ready to sink into despair and abandon myself to destruction�not to an imaginary ruin, but to the power of some actual being from the unseen world, who had such marvelous power as I had never before felt in any being�just at this moment of great alarm, I saw a pillar of light exactly over my head, above the brightness of the sun, which descended gradually until it fell upon me.

17 It no sooner appeared than I found myself delivered from the enemy which held me bound.

Who was this enemy?

Why would god let such darkness attend his appearance?

Since  GOD appears in a pillar of CLOUD or a pillar of FIRE, not a pillar of LIGHT in the bible, Who is this? The ANGEL of light; Satan?

And the siezure & binding, Was Joe possessed?

Why are there so many Satanic Manifestations in mormonism?

Why did the MAN of SIN get reavealed at general conference in Kirtland with the same bound tongues and seizures?

Why is it that when Mormons pray in the temple Ceremony SATAN shows up and Answers? When Joe prays for the FIRST TIME in his LIFE, why is it that the Angel of Light SATAN shows up?

How do we know there was not a deal made here to let Joe go?

Is Satan answering this prayer also?

When Moroni shows up in Joes upstairs bedroom, how did he avoid detection by joe's brothers, who used this same VERY Small room?

He must be Very short, his feet were above the floor, the ceiling is 6 ft at the center peak.

I KNOW YOU CAN"T ANSWER ANY OF THESE QUESTIONS BUT THAT DOES NOT MAKE THEM ANY LESS IMPORTANT!
