Blaine:  It is evident to me when I read about David Whitmer's activities in the church, his attempts too usurp Joseph Smith's position as head of the church and prophet of the restoration, his egoism in general, that he was plain old fashioned suffering from a green-eyed monstrous jealousy problem  When it came to a showdown  at OK Corrall, Joseph Smith's authority in the Church enjoyed a ground swell of member support and David Whitmer went down to near destruction.  He never got over the bruises to his ego, and continued to knock the Prophet almost to his death.  The only thing he did not do was deny the vision he saw of the angel with the plates, the sword of Laban, the Interpreters (Urim &Thummim), and the compass director (Liahona).  He affirmed up until his death he had witnessed all of these items on a table, in front of which was standing an angel of God, flipping the leaves of the golden plates.  He described the sealed portion of the plates as appearing "solid, like wood."    Despite all his apostacy, David was the most interviewed of the three witnesses.    All three left the church during the Kirtland period, with David being the only not to eventually return.  Oliver Cowdery and Martin Harris were rebaptized late in their lives.  Martin H. is buried in Utah.

"FULL" HISTORY IS INCOMPLETE!
The full history in the Messenger in Advocate 1834 & Jo Smith History p 59 does not contain any of these important details, even though they were supposedly historical events that occurred five years earlier. Why does it take till 1842 to get it all together? And why do we have to wait till 1876 when D&C 13, which reports on the event of May 15 1829, is added to the "sacred" text. Why should I not believe the facts, that your books have been cooked & tampered with? Where is Joe's account before 1842?

WHITMER TESTIFIES THERE WAS NO ORDINATION
Cook, David Whitmer, interviews P 155: Whitmer's 1885 statement: "I never heard that an Angel had ordained Joseph and Oliver to the Aaronic Priesthood until 1834 5. or 6-in Ohio...I do not believe that John the Baptist ever ordained Joseph and Oliver as believed by some".

WHITMER TESTFIES THERE WAS NO PRIESTHOOD
Thus, Whitmer testified that the only ordination Joseph recieved was that of Prophet, Seer, and Revelator, and the dual Priesthood was initially unknown and invented in the later years of the church. Whitmer Address To All Believers P 32-35 & 64. A search of the historical documents will show that the term Priesthood was never used until 1831. There was a concerted effort of Insertion of events and words that were not in the originals. Prince Power From On High P 12 footnote 31 "Smith's most detailed account, published in 1842, which applied the term 'priesthood' retroactively"

WHAT WAS THE DATE, WHO'S GOT THE DATE?
Whitmer was asked: "Can you tell the date of the restoration of the Apostleship by Peter James and John?" He replied: "I do not know, Joseph never told me. I can only tell you what I know: I will not testify to anything I do not know." cook, David Whitmer interviews P 25.
7 Volumes of History and no one has the date? Worse yet, No one has the account? These are important matters. The AUTHORITY of the whole church hinges on these matters!

1 Why are the details missing, details added over time. Evolution of accounts.
2 What was the date of Part 2 Priesthood of Melchiezedek? Where is the full account?
3 If Whitmer was a witness "who never denied seeing", what of his TESTIMONY that there was NO Priesthood except in the mind of Rigdon?
4 Why does Whitmer TESTIFY that account of 1829, first surfaced in 1834? Was he not intimately involved? And a Authority. Can you show us an account from before 1834? Why does it take till 1876 to show up in the D&C?
5 John the baptist baptized Jesus but not Jo?
