"Kolob, signifying the first creation, nearest to the celestial, or the residence of God."
Maybe it was Oliblish, or Enish-go-on-dosh or the planet hOkey or pOkey?

"Fig. 3. Is made to represent God."
Is that him with the animal head on?
Is that him siting next to the egyptian god, Horus? (look to the upper right)

We wont talk about the censorship of the god min (lower right) in facsimile 2 by the LDS authorities who expunged the offending member in the 1966 PGP but reinstated it in the 1981 edition.

Blaine:  It does not say every person's language was confounded--otherwise noone would have been able to communicate.   Your point seems almost suoerstitous.  You have to use a little common sense in interpreting either the Bible or the BoM.

Blaine:  What are you saying--that because the Jaredite nation is no more, it could not have been great in its own day?  That does not even seem reasonable to me.  What about America, the US?  It is clearly greater than any nation--ever--on the earth.  Where does it fit in with your 4 great kingdoms predicted by Daniel and others?  Obviously the Bible was talking about nations of the Old World, saying nothing of nations on this continent either past or present.  WOW!  Is this your best shot, Perry?  LOL
