I have some questions on which I would like the LDS view. I am not asking in order to form an argument, but to understand some questions that I cannot answer from what little I know about LDS concept spirit beings and "pre-human" existence. I am hoping that you LDS scholars have some answers for me.
Also, I am hoping that you will answer from your own understanding, but if you do not know feel free to consult your bishop or other knowledgable LDS acquaintances or family members...but please point out if it is your answer or someone elses.

1. A Mormon god, who is an exalted man and has a body of flesh and bones, at some point in his eternal progression has one or more wives, (probably many, maybe hundreds or thousands) through whom he has produced spirit children.
a. Do I have this right?
b. Are his wives spirit or flesh and bones?
c. If flesh and bones, then how do flesh and bones parents produce spirit children?
d. How is this reconciled with John 3:6?
2. When a child is born to human parents, one of these spirits is sent into the child.
a. Do I have this right?
b. At what point does the spirit enter the child?
c. How does the god decide which spirit is to enter which human child? (I ask because I am wondering what could the god to send a particular spirit into a child that he knows will be raped, tortured and killed, or into one who will be in abject poverty and starve to death, v. into one who will be the priviledged child of a wealthy family living high on the east side.)
d. if a child dies immediately after the spirit has entered it, does this spirit get a second chance, or does he have to go to the end of the line?
3. The pupose of having spirits enter a human body is to learn to overcome their sin (I think I recall Blaine saying something like this).
a. Do I have that right?
b. I seem to recall that Blaine said that some spirits will not get a chance to enter a human body. Is that right?
c. What happens to those spirits that will not get a chance to enter a human and overcome sin? Are they on the same footing, and do they have the same opportunities that a spirit that entered a human body has?

That is about it for now. It would be neat of you guys answered independently and without reading each others response, if you can. Can you do that? If you are busy feel free to take the time you need to do it...my term paper is not due for two weeks (LOL). Just joking. There is no term paper.
Thanks, Perry
