Judy:
Do you claim here that the BofM is supported by scripture and prophecy
Blaine while ATST you say that the Bible is unreliable?

Blaine:
Did I say the Bible was "unreliable?" Not that I recall. It is the many

interpretations of the Bible that I find interesting. How can two
different,
opposing interpretations both be right?

Judy:
I have a lot of Bibles in my personal library, just about every
translation
and I've yet to find two that oppose each other. I have my own preference

for personal study and yet I believe God is able to use any of them if
needed
for His purpose.

Blaine:
Take infant baptism. Most Protestants believe in it--yet, as we learned
from
Kevin and discussing the subject rationally, Baptists, also Protestants,
do not
believe such.

Judy:
Infant baptism is not addressed in any of my Bible translations Blaine.
You
have become a bit obsessed with this just as you are obsessed with the
issue
of denomination insisting that Kevin and I are Protestant even though I
deny it
and I've seen him do the same. Why keep on about infant baptism which is
no big
deal especially not when compared to the false prophet and priesthood and

contrived religious rituals taking place within Mormonism daily.

Blaine:
You tell me the BoM is not indicated by the Bible? Yet when I point out
scriptures that relate to it, you never pick up on it--you apparently
hope that
if you ignore them, they will go away.

Judy:
No scripture relates to the BofM so there isn't anything to pick up on
Blaine.
These scriptures are wrested to your own destruction because you have
been
trained to read meanings into them which were never intended by the
author.
The most outrageous possibly being that Joseph Smith is the person
described
by the prophet Isaiah who is able to open the sealed book with his hat
and seer
stone. You need to do a topical study on what God has to say about the
occult.

Blaine:
I get the impression you have never even seen some of these Biblical
passages,
yet there they are, right smack dab in the middle of your (our) Bible.
Kevin
sometimes attempts to discredit them--at least he doesn't ignore them.
LOL

Judy:
I don't ignore them either, just your distorted portrayal of them. Of
course
I've studied them and I'm sure Kevin would not attempt to discredit the
real,
only the Joseph Smith paraphrase.

Blaine:
What I find the most revealing, however, is when I read your answers,
they quite often seem more like some platitudes, unsupported conjectures,

generalizations or assertions, mixed in with a few . . . . put downs?
(:>)

Judy:
This is because you have another Jesus and a different spirit Blaine; it
is
pointless for me to try to communicate with you about anything spiritual
because presently you do not have eyes to see or ears to hear. There are
no
"platitudes" in God's Word - No word of God is without signification for
those with eyes to see - but you must be born again.
