Judy: Hi Terry - I'm glad to get rid of the dust and change the subject; so I'll give a quick overview of my present understanding which is subject to change if anyone can show me by the scriptures in balance and in context how I am wrong. Lets go back to the garden to see how it all begins. Biologically humans are considered to be mammals and part of the animal kingdom but there is a difference between humans and every other member of the mammal kingdom. The animals have instinct imbedded in their brain cells - whereas the human is primarily spirit (made in God's image). The human is not born with instinct and this is why it takes about 18yrs to grow children because the human does not know anything unless it has been learned; babies learn through the five physical senses but there is also a pathway from the human spirit to the human soul. We have a spirit, a soul (which is the longterm memory along with the faculty to process information) and a mobile home to live in which makes us triune beings and this is why Paul taught the sanctification of spirit, soul, and body (1 Thess 5:23). So in the garden we have God who is Spirit, A&E who are primarily spirit beings and the other kingdom (unseen) represented by Satan who is also a spirit. Any problem so far?
