No, Dave, no perfection until I escape this worn out body. However, my
sins are washed away. It happened in an instant in 1981. Some blood from a
perfect sacrifice was applied and my sins disappeared. That blood is over
two thousand years old and still working, still washing away sins. You just
have to be very careful not to dilute it with works or false teachings.
That ruins it.

If you have entered the narrow path through a narrow gate called Jesus,
then walking the path is excellent. The only way in is through the
gate. The only way to travel is the narrow path. You can do works as you
travel the narrow path. You can earn crowns by doing them. You just have
to remember that no one ever gets through the gate based on their works.
What you must do is call on Jesus. If you knock, He will open. AFTER He
brings you through the gate, THEN you work your way along the path, not to
be saved, or to stay saved, but because that is what saved people just
naturally want to do.

DAVEH: May I assume you believe you are on that path, Terry? If so, let me ask you if you feel you stepped onto that path back to heaven at the time you became saved?......or.......Do you think you will be saved by enduring to the end of your journey on that path as Jesus suggested in Mt 24:13......

"But he that shall endure to the end, the same shall be saved."

Even then, you cannot walk the path alone. Jesus will
provide you a guide, known far and wide as the Holy Spirit. He acts kind of
like a compass needle, keeping you on course. There will be times on that
path when temporary interference makes it look as if the needle is wobbling,
and you may be drawn off course for a moment, but if you simply allow the
Spirit to take the lead, and trust in what he tells you, you can be certain
that you will stay on course.

Since you are a Mormon and believe in a lot of (for lack of a better word)
nonsense, I strongly suggest that you backtrack a bit to see if you have not
diluted the blood. Feelings don't count for much.
Terry
