No assumptions about it Dave. God gave me His word. I know!! Take a
look at Jude, verse 24." Him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to
present you faultless", is the Holy Spirit. You cannot keep from stumbling
on your own, but if you are filled with the Spirit, your heart will be right
with God.
Now look at Luke, chapter 19, the story of Zacchaeus. Jesus did not tell
the little man "Endure to the end and be saved". He said,(verse 9 ) "Today,
salvation HAS COME to this house, because the Son of Man has come to seek
and to save the lost". Ol' Zach could not guarantee his salvation any more
than you or I could, but Jesus does not make mistakes. He says it's a done
deal, and I would not argue with Him.
  Something to think about?
  Terry
