     It seems that you believe that being tempted is the same as sinning.
Heb 2:18 tells us plainly that He was tempted, but didn't sin, therefore
it follows logically that being tempted cannot be the same as sinning.

     Imagine for a moment that I am on a diet, and, you, in a rascally
mood, decide to tempt me by offering me a bowl of "Oh Fudge! Oh Nuts" ice
cream. (My favorite!) You place it under my nose, you eat a bowl yourself
while smiling and otherwise indicating your delight. If I don't eat the
ice cream, then I have resisted and overcome that temptation. I have been
tempted, but did not give in. That's how it was with Jesus; He was
tempted to sin, but never gave in to that temptation.
