No, I am not saying that. Read again, deliberately this time, the whole Trinitarian conversation from the time I got involved in it and maybe what I did say will begin to register.

Yes it does, John, until Judy invents, coins, creates, fabricates, articulates, a new word to express the same intentionality. Because when she uses the word "person" to speak about Jesus Christ and the Trinitarian participants, she is using the word that she inherited from the Nicene fathers. They are the ones who created it, who coined it, who invented it, who fabricated it, who took something which had no locution and mouthed an utterance to express it. Moreover, I don't give a hoot if you or she gives them credit for it or not. That's not the point.
You know, I have studied the biblical message for myself, reached a specific conclusion and then, some time later, found the same thought in something that Oscar Kulman wrote (for example). He did so before my time. I really don't give a hoot about that either. The conclusion is mine as given to me by the Lord. Where judyt got here ideas about the "person" of Christ is something for her to say. All I am saying is that it is not necessarily true that the Nicene gang had any influence on her at all.
Just don't be so silly as to criticize others for using the Trinity word while uttering
words yourselves like "person" and "personhood" and "personality" to speak of the very same Divine participation.To date, I have not used those words.

The notion that my ideas are silly because they do not agree with you is, well, silly by definition. I explained in my email why I preferred "godhead" over "trinity". A rule of hermeneutics for me is stated this wise: call bible things by bible names; speak where the bible speaks and be silent where the billable is silent. Those are rules of study for me --- not rules that determine fellowship. If you don't agree, you remain a brother (if in fact, you have accepted Christ as Lord of your life).
