Or, God forbid, may not presently be misinterpreting this Book?   jt: Depends.. There is certainly a lot of misinterpreting going on. It began to come together for me when I started doing my own homework and quit looking to great men after the flesh for answers.  Now I don't have to ignore any or cut any out, I can have confidence in the whole Bible, every word and I love the Hymn 'Wonderful Words of Life' I think it is my favorite.   One sometimes wonders if there's a more dangerous instrument in the hands of a believer than the Bible. I mean dangerous (bad) not dangerous (good). Scripture + Spirit-filled believer = this site, all churches, all traditions.   jt: I'd say Scripture + Carnal believer + Psychology + Mens Theology + Doctrines of devils which encompass most of the other as well.   What we always have is an admixture of truth & error. Non is excluded from this reality. May I see the names of those who believe themselves to be noteworthy exceptions to the foregoing. Lance   jt: Moot point, since noone is there yet; even the apostle Paul toward the end of his ministry said "he had not yet attained" and he wrote most of the NT.
