The Bible says,"Resist the devel and he will flee from you".  Just wondering.
Has anyone on this list had the devil flee from her/him?  Terry

jt: First it says "Submit yourselves therefore to God; resist the devil and he will flee"
I don't believe the latter is possible aside from the first part of the verse. When we
deal with sin and submit to God the devils will flee from us same as they did from
Jesus because we will also cast them out with "the finger of God".

john: It happens.  But I guess this means that when I sin, it is my fault.
Romans 7:25 has its place , i am afraid.

jt: When we abide in sin it is our fault. If Romans 7:25 is a reality so is Romans 8:2
(all of it).  Through Christ we are able to "walk in the Spirit and not fulfill the lust
of the flesh" if we want to.  judyt
