The Bible says,"Resist the devel and he will flee from you".  Just wondering.
Has anyone on this list had the devil flee from her/him?  Terry

jt: First it says "Submit yourselves therefore to God; resist the devil and he will flee"
I don't believe the latter is possible aside from the first part of the verse. When we
deal with sin and submit to God the devils will flee from us same as they did from
Jesus because we will also cast them out with "the finger of God".

I submitted to God.  The Devil has not fled, else why would I be tempted?  He did flee from Jesus, but he came back.

jt: When we abide in sin it is our fault.
No arguement there.  I have looked all over for someone to blame other than myself.  Dave Hansen looked like a possible scapegoat for a while, but it turns out that he has to be responsible for his own sins.  David Miller can't be the one, because he has no sin. AH well............
.  Through Christ we are able to "walk in the Spirit and not fulfill the lust
of the flesh" if we want to.  judyt
You just had to throw that "if we want to" in, didn't you? I think you are on Davidm's side. :o)
