From: "Wm. Taylor" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> There is no doubt but that I will spend the rest of my life having to rewind and re-remind myself that it is by grace that I have been saved through the faithfulness of Jesus Christ, that not even my faith counts as that which saves me, because that too can only be considered a work in the grand plan of salvation. jt: Bill, I believe the faith vs faithfulness idea in
your doctrine is in error.
I don't have time right now to find scriptural proof
right now because I've
got to go somewhere this morning.
All the scriptures you
posted should read "faith" - What does Hebrews 11
mean if faith is not
important? The people named would be no different
than anyone else; that chaper is included as an example
for those of us
who have come later. Faith and fear are opposite and to walk in fear
is to walk in sin. Until we deal with the fear in
our lives we will not ever
be victorious Christians. Jesus did His part, he
provides the victory
but it will not benefit us or others if we
will not walk in it. Yes it's His
faith. I live by the faith of the Son of God who
loved me and gave
Himself for me.
