Oh Gary! I agree with your premise by why Calvin's Institutes? The Bible can show him that noone comes to the Son unless drawn by the Father through the Holy Spirit... but on second thought this may not be seen through the Mormon tinted eyeshades.  I don't believe these Mormon boys will be reasoned out of anything because this is a spiritual issue.
