" We can be anything we want to be.  Who needs God?"  Get Him out of the schools, get Him out of government, and pollute the Church until Christ Himself would not recognise it.  If persecution , or humiliation, or enslavement will turn people from their sins, to God, bring it on.  Let's do it!
