Terry, No I’m not surprised at the fulfillment of scriptural promises, such as persecution.  Just surprised that you are so eager to have the Christians thrown to the lions again in our own nation and generation. Why not instead opt to make our nation righteous again? (How? By prayer, by personal holiness, and by voting for god-fearing leaders!)  This Christian passivity is responsible for the state we are in, don’t you think?
