In our home church, we are working our way through Proverbs in the OT and 1Cor. in the NT. This week, we will look at I Cor., tenth chapter, and I am studying ahead so as to have some idea of what we are seeing.

Problem is, Paul says ( verse eight ) that in one day, 23,000 israelis were killed because of sexual sin on their part, and I cannot find that information in the OT. Three thousand died in Exodus 32, but that was for idolatry, and 24,00 died in Numbers 25, but I can find no record of the 23,000.
Anyone have any idea?
