Terry, I think being killed or harmed IS a curse (obviously not a blessing, but the opposite).  I think the devil can use storms to harm, and God can use storms to show His power to judge or protect. (Who knows, maybe God intends to wipe out all the Democrats from Florida??? Only kidding!)If you think it is a waste of time to pray for God's protection from storms (or sickness, or whatever) for yourself, or others, then that is a pretty passivist attitude which doesn't sound like you. The novel to which I referred, should have been “This Present Darkness”, the first in a series by Frank Peretti, was a huge best-seller in Christian circles because it showed how prayer can move the hand of God. I recommend it. Izzy

I love you Sis, but I don't have a clue as to what you are trying to

tell me.  Do you think only the cursed are killed or harmed?  Do you

think hurricanes are a product of the Devil?  I hate to be so clueless,

but you'll have to clarify for me to grasp what you are saying.

I have never heard of "This Final Darkness".  A book no doubt?

Terry
