Good to hear, my friend! So what was your original point? You have not answered my question: do you think that either the Bible or the Holy Spirit are unnecessary? Izzy

I am saying the doctrine of inspired interpretations makes the Bible unnecessary.   I say that in spite of Terry's response (a good point I might add) because it would mean that God is still in the scripture writing business.

We will get no where without the biblical message, the Spirit who indwells,  the community of friends we can identify as pastors, teachers and preachers, God the Father who's love and provision is unmerited and without limit and Jesus, our brother and savior.    We need them all.
