John, I understood you to be a carpenter, still working in the trades. That makes me wonder how old you are? I have 8 years to go to draw my pension, just how young do you think I am? But, I have to admit I feel flattered that you think of me as young, about a month ago Slade and I stopped at a resturant and I got the senior discount!!! While I gladly accepted the 10% discount, I was disturbed at the fact that I was considered a senior!!

I like it when I am treated as an equal. And Bill did that with me. What was disarming, for me, however, was the obvious fact the Spirit of the Lord is very much a part of all that Bill is about. There is the passion of a Jonathan or a Jeff Powers without the sometimes recklessness of speech (it's a youth thing, guys). His hand and heart are on the Bible. He cares. And he and I will be good friends because of that circumstance. I like people who have a passion for the Lord. I see it in the writings of several of you. I saw it in the face, the eyes, the voice, the excited pattern of speech that gives Billy T his sense of uniqueness.

I recommend him to you all.

a friend a a brother,

Johnny D
