I was
using the "not absorb prevalent amillennialism" as an example to show how what
we're taught in the academy doesn't necessarily become part of us, even when
we're taught a topic ad nauseum. I am Pre-Mil-Post-Trib at this point,
but when I look at the Messianic fervor of the 1 BCE through 1 CE era, I wonder
about that as well.

never heard of N T Wright. I can put him on my "to read list when I have time or
when I'm forced to by the classes I take" list.
