concerning which law has priority when they appear to conflict. For example,
circumcision is to be done the 8th day, but what if the 8th day falls on Shabbat? In the case of Jesus and his disciples, Jesus outlines from the Hebrew Scriptures what allows for "exceptions" (so-to-speak) to the
general rule of Shabbat observance. Jesus and his disciples did not break Shabbat, but
properly understood it and observed it. Yes, it has to do with the balance between “heavy
vs light”. Or Tiferet,
