It went great.  This time I had 51 people carrying ten foot crosses behind

me as I preached in the Christmas parade of Inverness, the largest city in

Citrus County, Florida.  The crowd was very supportive.  It seemed like more

than half agreed with my message, applauding often, yelling amen, giving me

a thumbs up, some even crying gently and lifting hands to praise God.  The

support was so strong that I almost started wondering what I was doing

wrong.  :-)

 

I think many Christians are getting upset over all the "politically correct"

movement to remove God from public parades and the like. The tide is turning

and people are starting to realize that it is a good thing for Christians to

make a public stand for Christ.  They are starting to realize that if we

don't do this, we will become as secularized as Canada is, which not too

long ago declared parts of the Bible to be hate speech and illegal to preach

in public.
