I think, briefly, that what we are having here is a dichotomy between those who believe that we can find divinity in the Community of Man, and those who believe that divinity can only be found in Christ, and then fellowship with others in Christ is the byproduct of that.  I, obviously, fall into the latter camp.  w/o taking time for a prolonged explanation I will simply refer you to couple of scriptures, below.  I don’t think anyone is going to have any success in persuading the other camp to join in theirs. Izzy 2 Corinthians 6:14 Do not be bound together with unbelievers; for what partnership have righteousness and lawlessness, or what fellowship has light with darkness?  John 15: 4"(D)Abide in Me, and I in you.
