John, I thought there was a repentance that you believed in ("a change of mind") and a repentance that you did not believe in ("ceasing from sin"). Did I misunderstand you? Do you have a difference of opinion with Judy about what repentance is or not? Please clarify your position.

... to answer your question, you pretty much have the idea that I embrace on repentance.
Thank you. Then I think you misunderstood Judy.
John wrote:
David, are you aware that Judy said that I did not believe in repentance or that I found it to be unimportant .......... I do not have the post and I am not going to go looking for it.
Following is taken from a post wherein you quote her and then respond. Please notice the quote you made says, "THE repentance" not just "repentance."

This is where the 'repentance' (that John says he doesn't believe in) comes in.

Another misrepresentation by Judy. Some would call it a lie. Whatever it is, it is deliberate and false.

Judy was speaking about the kind of repentance that you do not believe in, the ceasing from sin kind of repentance, but you apparently understood her to be talking about any kind of repentance and thus you accused her of misrepresenting you. As a wise man named John once told me, CONTEXT, CONTEXT, CONTEXT. :-)
Peace be with you.
