I Hope you and Vee have a blessed, and peaceful Christmas.   judyt
P.S. I was surprised to see that Vee shoots a gun - she looks too sweet - but must have a lot of what it takes :)
 ===========================================
Vee killed a deer last night just before dark, then stood in the cold holding a flashlight while I skinned and quartered it.  Quite a gal!  Never went hunting until she turned sixty-two.  She is now sixty-five and has harvested five deer.

A friend that I used to fish with in the keys sent us a box of lobster and stone crab, and a fishing buddy from Appalachicola brought me a bag of fresh oysters.  Unclean food to some, but we are rejoicing.

Went to our daughters house for pizza this evening.  Read the Christmas story from Luke ( a tradition with us) and exchanged gifts with our daughter and her kids, our grand kids.  Couldn't stay long because I have rabbits ready to give birth and have to bring in the babies when they come.  Lost a litter of seven last night.  They froze before I got to them.  Bunnies are born hairless and the mothers take no pains to keep them warm except for lining the nest with fur.  Tonight one doe had had only three.  Two of them were still alive, so I brought them in for the night.  Will have to do that for the next five nights unless it warms up some.  Once they grow some hair they are pretty hardy.

Got carried away there .You weren't asking about rabbits and I told you more than you wanted to know.

Have a good Christmas.  We are still praying for Jenna.
