Thanks Judy.

A better way to reference this is to give us the author as well as the title
of the work. I'm familiar with this work, so I know what you are talking
about, but others may not be.

An informal but adequate reference would be something like:

Philip Schaff, History of the Christian Church, Vol. 8, Third Book, Chapter
16,
Servetus: His Life. Opinions, Trial, and Execution. 136 The Servetus
Literature.

Schaff is a well known and respected historian, so it also would be adequate
for you in this forum to just say, "Schaff says..." (I think you said this
in an earlier post). Just connect his name with the quote and we get the
gist of what is being done.

By the way, did you know that Schaff was an editor for some of the Church
Father publications? If you enjoyed reading his study of Servetus, you
might enjoy reading some more concerning the Church Fathers. :-)

Peace be with you.
David Miller.
