My turn now John .. Don't want to burst your bubble but it isn't up to God who gets in and who doesn't .. because God has given all judgment in heaven and on earth over to Jesus, so he is the one who has the say so and we are given a preview
in the gospels. Remember those who say "Lord, Lord, and he says I never did know you, depart from me, you who practice lawlessness" Sin is lawlessness. Adding to or taking away from the Word of God is so serious that I would think it is included. judyt
Judy, you really do not have a clue as to "the practice of lawlessness." Your use of the phrase "sis is sin" forces this conclusion. You have no place in your theology , that I can see, for the continual flow of the blood of the Lamb. You can't deal with the implications of continuing sin as recorded in the biblical mesage. And you actually think that rebellion/lawlessness is demonstrated by those who do the best they can but fail because of ignorance or addiction or spiritual immaturity. Are you saved -- I for one, do not doubt it, but your salvation is because of the continuing forgiveness of the Christ. Believe me when I say that you are not good enough to go to the great Beyond without help.
John
