In the search for "truth," the majority does not matter at all. Disagreement on this issue gives rises to creeds tyrannically imposed and maintained. Neither, unfortunately, is there a testing that gives us the "truth' other than how it (our concept of the truth) fits us to live our lives.
The existence of absolute truth is one thing. Knowing that we have possess that truth, in a conceptual sense, is something else.
