There may be more at play here than you realize, Lance, but I am interested
in hearing how you think fundamentalism applies to me in terms of shaping my
philosophy and theology. I do not consider myself to be a fundamentalist.
I heard my sister once refer to me and my parents as fundamentalists, but I
took that as an insult because she said it disparagingly to explain to
someone else why I opposed her adultery and divorce and other sinful actions
against her husband.

My experience with fundamentalist Christianity was primarily in the Baptist
denomination. They gave me the left foot of fellowship within three months.
My perspective of them was that they were legalists and Bibliolators who did
not let love and the Spirit operate their lives. Ever since then, I figured
that I was not a fundamentalist.

Peace be with you.
David Miller.
