Thanks but I understood you were taking about believers interacting with the Holy Spirit. I just thought the Hegelian concept out of place in such a gathering.  The example we are left with is Paul persuading people by scripture but when people are unfamiliar with the scriptures and/or do not hold them in reverence or esteem - where does one go from there?  Paul eventually shook the dust from his feet and moved on.  jt
