David, you bemoan the fact that you can't keep a moderator. But no more than
get one and you start undermining his authority. Please, either back your
man or correspond with him in private when you think he's misappropriated
himself. Bill

Amen Bill! And one wonders at Slade's departure???

Lance follows with:
David: I don't know which came first, this or Bill's post suggesting you
shouldn't be doing this very thing. You do note it's inappropriateness,
don't you?

You fellows amaze me; most of you continually tweak and nitpick at everything
DavidM says and/or does. His posts are too long, he hasn't explained himself enough
or they are way too detailed, he believes in sinless perfection and on and on...

Now that you see him in a bind are you waiting in line to become part of the answer
or are you busy adding to the problem? I notice each is a practiced critic with plenty
to say. Izzy has said more than once that she wouldn't be on this list but for DavidM
and she has been raked through the coals and called a David idolater because of it -
you still don't get it do you?

Let me just put it this way - He is a man with spiritual fruit in his life; one who takes
God's Word seriously, one who is patient, kind, and longsuffering with others, one
who I've never seen overtaken with malice, anger, or vengeful, and one who serves
rather than lords it over God's people.

All of this rhetoric about authority and what is appropriate/inappropriate gives me the
creeps. This is why the visible Church is so void of power.  Too much authority and not
enough truth/love. Anyone in a place of spiritual authority who is offended by correction
should not be there to start with. It's a pretty good litmus test and anyway what Jesus
did wasn't done in a corner - was it?   jt
