Another poorly thought out premise.   A better way of saying this is to admit that faith is, in fact, a vital part of scientific knowledge.    Postulated truths or numerous; all philosophical "conclusions" regarding the origens of life and this universe are matters of faith and very little more.    Research science wholely depends on faith to precede with its experimentations  ("we believe we are withing of 5 years of a cure for  .............." is a statement of faith).
