Michael D: Further to the update on Grenada, I want to add some follow-up on Guyana. Has anyone on TT seen in the news the disaster that has rocked Guyana in S. America. For those who have not, Guyana (a part of the West Indies) has had their worst floods in over 100 years. Whole areas had to be evacuated as they remained under flood waters for days on end. People and animals died, of course. Now they are under the lash of deadly diseases: some mosquito borne. They have a serious crisis down there.

I you all recall, in my sharing on my own 'Ivan' experience, I shared how God had my prayer partner and me praying about nations and showing us His displeasure with a few of them, two of which were Jamaica and Guyana. I even shared how God had me lamenting in prophecy over these two countries (I will repost a portion of that one). Well, Jamaica was hit by Ivan, though they were still spared, but nothing happened with Guyana (who are way out of the hurricane belt). Needless to say I was a bit stunned when Guyana had all the non-stop rain that brought this immense disaster upon them, but I did recognise the fulfilment of that cry of God's heart concerning them. Judgement was delayed, but not denied them. These things are truly sad, but it tells us all how serious God's dealings can be. May God help us all to let Jesus and His way be our unwavering compass.

I hope these accounts help folks to get a better picture of where God is in relation to these things, and to appreciate the onus that is upon us to exercise our authority in these areas.
