Wrong, John. The NASV translates qadesh as sodomites in 1 Kings 22:46. The Modern King James Version has six verse with the word. The ASV has five. I'll let you do the rest of the homework. There is no doubt that modern translations have a tendency to change "sodomite" to "cult prostitute," but you should be more open minded about considering what is the driving force behind this tendency.
