I pastored for five years, John.  I know what you are talking about. 
Perhaps my patience makes me more suited to it, but I still find public 
preaching more difficult and uncomfortable than all of these problems 
involved in overseeing the unspiritual, carnal babes.  I'm not demeaning the 
difficulty of which you speak.  I'm just registering that from my 
perspective, public preaching takes more sacrifice.  That may not be true 
for everyone.  Maybe it is just my personality that makes the public 
preaching more difficult.

Have you ever preached in a public venue like a university campus or street 
corner?  Are you speaking from experience or from speculation?
