He lived in our house and slept in one of my boys' bedroom and it was for
two years. Shortly before his death he had gone to live at his mother's; in
fact, he had gone to take care of her in her old age. Wow! what a story.

The first night I brought him home it was blizzarding out and I had to get
the cattle in, and then we had a bunch of sick calves, so we had to give
them shots, and we were covered with scours from one end to the other. He
was still drunk and wobbly, but the whole time he was singing old spirituals
at the top of his longues. I thought, "Lord what I have I gotten myself
into?" But all the while a very strong assurance had come over me that
everything was going to be alright.

My wife has only put up with one for 8 months, but she has

I am glad you feel this way, David. I will pass on the specifics of our
differences as I see them for the time being. There will be opportunities
along the way to point out those distinctives. I will try not to miss them.

Thanks,

Bill
