Good try, but no cigar once again for poor old Deegan. Only the sexually active can pervert the truth? Try this on for size: to pervert -- to cause to turn aside or away from what is good or true or morally right. That is right out of a D I C T I O N A R Y. Under that definition, "perversion" applies to at least three differing categories. One is a pervert in all three cases. So Paul was a murderer, Samson a whoremonger, Abraham failed in the trust department, Moses could not resist drawing attention to himself, making himself more important that was the case, Noah was a drunk and an incestuous fellow - I could go on. What is in your closet, Deegan. Oh -- let's not forget the pervert, King James. A dispicable man to all except, apparently, the Missionary Baptist folk.
Get the point? God, thank God, uses us all. If He can use a dumb ass to get His work done (and be sure and turn that into something personal, why don't you?), he certainly can use various translations, whether edited/directed by an adullterous and murdering King or by someone with whom you disagree doctrinally (still waiting for that list).
