Are you the same person who thought time on the grid-iron and the 'mat' to be time 'well wasted'?

jt: Actually I thought it was time that could have been better spent.  The other night I did ask my son if he got anything out of it and he said he thought that he learned "endurance" (but if you could see some of his problems with anger you would question that assumption) and God has much better ways of teaching endurance - His time would have been spent on higher pursuits while in HS, wrestling is a fading glory at best.. (bodily exercise profits little).

Are you the same one who regretted your kids exposure to Tolkien?

jt: Could you please explain to me the "higher" purpose of Tolkien Lance.  Does he surpass J. K. Rowling and Harry Potter in your estimation?  How do you teach a child spiritual discernment while at the same time allowing demons to entertain him?

Look, Jt, just continue to dwell in your little 'insular' world and consider a visit to the optometrist. Your heart may be expansive. Your view of the world at large is excessively diminutive.

jt: I'm not all that interested in the ways of this world Lance - I've seen enough of them and think it a waste of time to learn them. I am much more interested in the ways of God and the Kingdom of His Christ. Incidentally this and the world are not one and the same in spite of Perichoresis and your "incarnational" theologies.

You are most definitely one who needs it Lance, along with our prayers because .....
There are none so blind as those who "will not" see.  jt

No need for sorrow as I'M NOT WRONG. Save your sorrow for those in need of it.

2. Therefore, like it or not, YOU DO HAVE A JESUS OF YOUR OWN 'IMAGINING'.

Wrong again, Lance. Sorry.  Izzy

1 John 5:20
And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.
