Just because Jesus cited scripture after scripture; what would make you christians think it is the thing to do? Why not cite Movies or secular songs or Miscreant theolog Nicolaitans?
 
Lu 4:4 And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.

MT 4 Then was Jesus led up of the spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil.

There were 3 temptations:

Answer to Question 1 VS 4 But he answered and said, It is written

Answer to Question 2 VS 7 Jesus said unto him, It is written again
 
Answer to Question 3 VS 10 Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written (seems like a good way to shoo the devil)
 
Now who do you think gave you this idea?

No, Linda, I was referring to YOU. I was not referring to Jesus. How utterly presumptuous of you. You, Judy, Kevin and David mistakenly believe that to cite any Scripture is to have cited it correctly. Often you (all of you) do not. I believe that to be quite clear.
