Lance says  I just wish one day for the dimmer among(st) you to acknowledge that Scriptural citation does not NECESSARILY = support for the point at hand.

Just because Jesus cited scripture after scripture; what would make you christians think it is the thing to do? Why not cite Movies or secular songs or Miscreant theolog Nicolaitans?

Lu 4:4 And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.

MT 4 Then was Jesus led up of the spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil.

There were 3 temptations:

Answer to Question 1 VS 4 But he answered and said, It is written

Answer to Question 2 VS 7 Jesus said unto him, It is written again

Answer to Question 3 VS 10 Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written (seems like a good way to shoo the devil)

Now who do you think gave you this idea?
Gen 3:1 Yea, hath God said?

No, Linda, I was referring to YOU. I was not referring to Jesus. How utterly presumptuous of you. You, Judy, Kevin and David mistakenly believe that to cite any Scripture is to have cited it correctly. Often you (all of you) do not. I believe that to be quite clear.

No need for sorrow as I'M NOT WRONG. Save your sorrow for those in need of it.

2. Therefore, like it or not, YOU DO HAVE A JESUS OF YOUR OWN 'IMAGINING'.

Wrong again, Lance. Sorry.  Izzy

1 John 5:20
And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.
