This is very kind of you Lance, but tell me why must
one hold 'orthodoxy' in such reverence? The way I see it orthodoxy
crucified the Lord of Glory the first time He came and I don't believe they will
recognize Him when it is time for Him to
return. They may have studied every jot and
tittle but they didn't hear the voice of God through Moses - neither did they
recognize it when Jesus in person spoke it to them face to face.

I respect you, Judy. As I continue to ready your
genuinely 'thoughtful' responses to Bill and John, you reflect a little more
of your 'theology' with each one. Though in some important areas (The Person
of Christ) you fall outside the pale of 'orthodoxy' (IMO), you reflect the
best and the worst of the 'self-taught' believer.
Whose "two tier" notion Lance? Another
figment of your extremely active imagination - entirely...
However,
when there is no visible fruit in a person's life
one wonders. When someone is feeding on the vanity
of
this world and will not trust the "bread of
life" Well??? judyt
sin(sp) sb since...BOTHS..Baptism of the Holy
Spirit..Believed in Bill..as we get accused of esteeming one another too
highly..well...I find it somewhat annoying to attempt to address seriously
this two tier notion of Christianity..
Lance,
Would you please translate the following.
I'm having a difficult time understanding it. Bill
Jt asks: Have I received the BOTHS sin I
believed IN BILL? They were, as I
recall, concurrent.
And while we are busy 'straining at gnats'
let me tell you that I'm (patiently) awaiting the day when
you and your friends will be willing to first see and then admit your own error concerning the person
of the Lord Jesus Christ. Have you
received the baptism of Jesus in the Holy Spirit since you believed
Bill?
Only trying to see how far you'll go
before admitting that you were wrong, Judy. Just curious, in other
words. Bill
Bill what is
your main point in going on and on about this. Are you trying to prove that the Holy
Spirit is the one who drives
Or is your main point to
emphasize that I missed it one time? Do you notice how the point gets lost when
who is right becomes more important
than what is truth?
jt
Judy wrote >
"The Holy Spirit never drives,
He leads; it's the other spirit who drives - the one who
works in the "children of disobedience."
And to prove it, Judy
writes >
And I still say
that - Jesus being driven into the wilderness to be tempted of
the devil is the exception it is not
the rule.
So, are you saying that you meant
the Holy Spirit "never" does this,
except when he does it? Maybe
you should have pled the fifth.
Bill
