John 3:36: here we have a passage of scripture that speaks about those who have heard about Jesus and are believing (pres. act. part) ...The one who acts out his disbelief
Where did you get this "one who ACTS out"?
(Present Indifferent Rediculous)?

LOL so you figured out what it meant.
There are no other INTERPRETATIONS, even for those who want to weasel out from under the weight of God's word.
Well, o.k. -- I will fight the bear from the North.
In verse 3:16, we are told that Christ died because of His love for the whole world. In Col 1:15-23 we learn that "in his body of flesh through death" the reconciliation of all things has occurred. We further learn of the purpose of all this --- that we might be holy and blameless. Back to John 3:36: here we have a passage of scripture that speaks about those who have heard about Jesus and are believing (pres. act. part) as possessing eternal life. That goes straight to the purpose of reconciliation. The one who acts out his disbelief receives wrath. He is judged already .................... So what is the big deal. A variant translation is not needed here ----------- just some basic common sense and the ability to read and comprehend more than one verse per day.
