ROTFLOL! Bill, is this original with you, or did you read this analysis somewhere? That was really fun to read. I wonder if Kofi Annan had read your analysis recently. Maybe he is a lurker on TruthTalk. LOL. Peace be with you. David Miller. It's more a synthesis than anything original, David -- although I've never heard anyone "say" it before. The thing with ginomai being a "becoming" out of dust has been around from the beginning. Athanasius saw very clearly that "death" was a movement away from the perhaps infinite potential of an eternal relationship with God, back into nothingness or non-being, or non-existence -- which of course is the antithesis of any kind of becoming. And, I think if you think about it, you will conclude with Athanasius that death can only be that, because there is no semblance of death in God, and because there is no possibility of existing in any state of real being in absolute estrangement from our Creator -- for to do so would be to have within yourself the power of existence, which would be to be god. I am almost afraid to ask about the Kofi Annan reference -- but I will. I do not follow world events closely enough to know what Annon and the U.N. and so forth are up to, so . . . what are you talking about?
