In my parallel post, I used the example of where you (DavidM) might be the most eager TTer to execute a transgressor, which in effect is a speedy way to start somebody on there hellish journey, rather than let them languish in a state of mortality with the possible chance they will someday repent and turn to the Lord. There was one example I quoted (the URL) yesterday of a person who claimed to be Christian. I've got no reason to think she was lying about that. Have you considered that perhaps your perspective is a bit skewed, DavidM. If you were someone who was not a Christian, and had an ax to grind.....maybe you would be more sensitive to hearing such comments from professed Christians.
